There
is just one BidButler booked to bid in an auction, the bids will be placed automatically within your range at any
point within the final ten seconds. The countdown will then extend to a maximum of 20 seconds for each bid that
is placed.
If there are two or
more BidButlers bidding against each other, all the consecutive BidButler bids are placed immediately, and the
price and countdown increase with each BidButler bid placed. The countdown will extend to a maximum of 20 seconds
per bid.
All auctions will
count down from 24 hours with no time added to the counter for bids placed before the timer has reached 5 minutes.
Once the timer has reached below 5 minutes the counter will extend to a maximum of 20 seconds per bid placed and
will not increase the timer beyond 5 minutes regardless of how many bids are placed. This means that once an
auction has gone below 5 minutes, further bids placed will never increase the counter over 5 minutes.
If you want to bid online, you´ll first
need to register. Registration is free and easy. As part of the registration process, you will need to confirm
your email address by clicking on the link in the confirmation email sent to your account.

An auction ends once the countdown reaches zero. An auction can
also end when the date and time shown under "Auction will end before" is reached.
For
auctions with a timer, an auction is deemed to be ended when the timer has run out, or down to "0:00:00"
(Ended). For other types of auctions such as reverse auctions and "mystery strike-price" auctions
(both are under consideration for development), the auction is deemed to be ended when the target price has been
reached.
Open fucture auctions, all bids are available for public
viewing; each participant knows the other bids submitted. Every auction is governed by a set of rules that the
bidder must read before participating. If auction rules change during an auction, bidders must reread the rules
before submitting or updating bids. Bids submitted prior to a rule change are not affected and may still win the
bidding.
Customers can submit autobids on future Open fucture auctions. Autobids (automatic bids)
submit bids for Open fucture auctions on behalf of customers. Customers supply the following information for each
autobid:
Auction end price
The auction end price is the price at which the auction ended. Only
the winner of the auction can buy the item at that price. Sometimes there are special offers available on an
auction such as such as "100% off", " Fixed price", etc. - again, these only apply to the
winner of the auction.
